CNAME Records in Cloud Hosting
In case you have a cloud hosting plan from our company and you wish to create a CNAME record, it will take you only a few clicks to get it done. You can access the DNS records for all domain addresses and subdomains hosted inside your account via the Hepsia Control Panel that comes with each and every plan and adding a new record is as basic as clicking on a button, choosing the type, which will be CNAME in this case, inputting the actual record value and saving the change. If you have never added such a record before, we have a Help section with a detailed video tutorial which you can watch, or you can simply contact us and we'll help you with this task. If you have set up an Internet site via another provider, you want to use a private URL for your webmail or you wish to designate a subdomain to be used with the services of a different provider, for example Google Apps, all it takes is creating a CNAME record with a few mouse clicks inside your Control Panel.
CNAME Records in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you have a semi-dedicated server with our company and you would like to set up a CNAME record, it requires no more than a couple of mouse clicks to complete this task. The plans are managed through our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel in which you will see a section dedicated to the DNS records of the domain names and subdomains hosted inside the account. To create a CNAME record, you will only have to choose the record type and the hostname (domain or subdomain), input where the latter is going to be pointed to and save the modification. The new record will be active almost right away in our system and will propagate worldwide within a couple of hours. Changing or deleting an existing CNAME record within the account is just as easy and takes a click. In the event you experience any troubles, you can go through our detailed help article, watch the short video on the topic that we have added in the CP, or simply contact us for assistance.
